Elk Run Vineyards (Mt. Airy, MD) released three wines in April 2014

  • Gypsy Rose is Rose of Pinot Noir 2013. Dry rose with fresh cherry and rose petal aromas, smooth full bodied mouth fee and a nice finish. Classic summer wine.
  • Red Door - Cold Friday Vineyard 2013.  A blend of Cabernet Franc, Cabernet Savignon, Merlot, Syrah and Malbec gives this bright red berry flavors, very smooth tannin and nice long finish.
  • Gewurztraminer Cold Friday Vineyard 2013. Grapefruit and lychee fruit aromas with citrus overtones.
